London: West Ham United is in a tough spot this season. Julen Lopetegui is trying to keep his job after a poor start. The team lost 3-1 to Leicester City, which raised concerns among the club’s leaders about his future.
After the loss, the club decided to keep Lopetegui for now. He will have one last chance to prove himself in the upcoming match against Wolverhampton Wanderers. This game is crucial for him to impress the board.
Reports suggest that West Ham is looking at Massimiliano Allegri as a potential replacement. Allegri is a highly respected manager and would be a big catch for the club.
Allegri has been without a job since leaving Juventus last summer. During his time there, he achieved great success, winning eleven trophies, including five Serie A titles.
He also managed AC Milan from 2010 to 2014, where he won a Scudetto and a Supercoppa Italiana. His experience makes him a strong candidate for West Ham.
However, Allegri might not be interested in moving to London. West Ham is looking for a manager to take over on a short-term basis, at least until the end of the season.
Another name in the mix is Graham Potter. He had a successful run at Brighton & Hove Albion but struggled at Chelsea, where he was let go after less than seven months.
Potter could be open to a short-term deal with West Ham since he still lives in Brighton, making it easier for him to transition to the new role.
