Real Valladolid’s poor performance in La Liga puts their manager’s job at risk.
Valladolid: Real Valladolid is having a tough time in La Liga this season. After 15 matches, they are at the bottom of the league table. They are also four points away from safety, having played one more game than some teams.
The recent 5-0 loss at home to Atletico Madrid has put even more pressure on their coach, Paulo Pezzolano. Reports suggest he might be fired soon. Pezzolano has been in charge since April 2023, but things are not going well.
Fans have not been happy with Pezzolano for a while, and now the club’s management feels the same way. They are already looking for a new coach. Francisco, who used to manage Girona and Rayo Vallecano, is a potential replacement. He is currently without a job.
Valladolid’s struggles are evident, and they have a Copa del Rey match against Real Avila coming up on Tuesday. It wouldn’t be surprising to see a new coach in charge by then.
