Tottenham’s January Transfer Plans: No Changes Expected for Key Players

London: Tottenham Hotspur has decided not to sell any more players during the upcoming January transfer window. They already let go of some players who were not part of manager Ange Postecoglou’s main plans in the summer.

Richarlison, a player who could attract buyers, has not played much this season. He is currently sidelined due to a hamstring injury, making a sale less likely.

There is interest in Radu Dragusin from clubs in Italy, particularly from Napoli. However, Tottenham has no plans to let the 22-year-old Romanian defender leave in January.

Dragusin is determined to stay and improve his skills under Postecoglou. He has faced challenges getting regular playing time this season, as Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven are the preferred defenders.

Recently, both Romero and Van de Ven have been injured, allowing Dragusin to start alongside Ben Davies in central defense. This situation has raised questions about the team’s defensive depth.

Despite concerns, Dragusin has shown significant improvement in his recent performances. The team also has summer signing Archie Gray, who can step in if needed.

Dragusin has made four starts in the Premier League and is eager to make the most of this opportunity before Romero or Van de Ven return. A transfer away from Tottenham seems very unlikely for him in January.
