Torino has decided not to sell Samuele Ricci despite interest from Manchester City, Milan, and Napoli.
According to Tuttosport, Manchester City is willing to spend between €35 million and €40 million to acquire Ricci. However, Torino has already informed City that they are not open to selling their talented playmaker.
The club is particularly reluctant to let Ricci go after losing two key players, Raoul Bellanova and Alessandro Buongiorno, during the summer transfer period. Torino wants to keep their squad intact for the rest of the season.
Despite the rejection, Manchester City is expected to make another offer for Ricci. However, sources indicate that Torino will stick to their decision and will not change their mind about selling him.
In addition to Manchester City, both Milan and Napoli are also interested in Ricci. However, it seems unlikely that either Serie A club will make a bid during the January transfer window.
Alessandro Buongiorno, a former Torino player, has expressed a desire to play alongside Ricci again at Napoli. He even suggested that Antonio Conte should consider signing Ricci for the team.
This situation highlights the growing interest in Samuele Ricci, who has become a sought-after talent in Italian football. Torino’s firm stance shows their commitment to keeping their promising young player for now.
