Tajon Buchanan is ready to help Inter Milan after Benjamin Pavard got injured.
With Pavard unavailable, Yann Bisseck and Matteo Darmian are the main choices to play on the right side of Inter’s defense. However, Darmian is also an important option for the right-wingback position, which complicates the team’s lineup. Bisseck has been a regular player on the left side of the defense this season.
This change allows Carlos Augusto to play more as a wingback, giving another option to Federico Dimarco. The flexibility of the players in Inter’s squad is crucial, but losing a key player like Pavard can upset the team’s balance.
Fortunately, Inzaghi has another versatile player to rely on. Canadian international Tajon Buchanan has returned from his own injury and is ready to step in. The 25-year-old can play on the left side, providing support to Augusto and Dimarco, where he has mostly played for Inter.
Buchanan is right-footed and has also played on the right side. He made his comeback from injury by coming off the bench on that flank. This means he can back up both Darmian and Dumfries on the right side, adding depth to the team.
As Inter Milan navigates this challenging period, Buchanan’s versatility will be key in maintaining the team’s performance. His ability to adapt to different positions will help the squad cope with Pavard’s absence and keep their competitive edge in upcoming matches.
