Sevilla is looking to strengthen their squad by considering a loan for Barcelona’s Ansu Fati, but his high salary and injury history are major concerns for the club.
City: Sevilla
Sevilla is on the hunt for new players as the January transfer window approaches. One name that has come up is Ansu Fati from Barcelona. The club is interested in adding him to their team.
However, there are big worries about his high salary and ongoing injury issues. Sevilla has been keeping an eye on Ansu for a while and wants to bring him in, but finances are a problem.
Barcelona seems ready to let Ansu go again after a mixed time back at the club. They might be willing to loan him out, but Sevilla is cautious about the costs involved.
Ansu Fati earns a lot at Barcelona, which means the club would need to pay a large part of his salary if he leaves on loan. This makes it hard to negotiate a deal.
On top of that, Ansu has a history of injuries that worries Sevilla. He is currently out with a muscle issue and is not expected to play again until mid-December.
This is just another setback in a career that has seen many injuries. Earlier this season, he missed almost two months due to a foot injury he got during pre-season training.
Despite these issues, Sevilla’s coach, Garcia Pimienta, still believes in Ansu’s talent. He has worked with Ansu since his youth days at Barcelona and knows how skilled he is.
Pimienta was one of the first to support Ansu as he moved up the ranks and made his debut for the first team. Sadly, injuries have slowed down his progress since then.
At 22 years old, Ansu still has time to recover and show his potential. Sevilla hopes that his injury problems will improve, but his fitness and high salary make this transfer difficult.
