Ruud van Nistelrooy is likely to become Leicester’s new manager and may recruit from Man United.
Van Nistelrooy was reportedly upset when he was not offered a position at Manchester United after Ruben Amorim took over. There were also rumors that he could take the job at Crystal Palace, but that did not happen. Now, Leicester could benefit from this situation.
With the January transfer window approaching, van Nistelrooy is likely to be active in seeking players. He may consider three young players from Manchester United to strengthen Leicester’s squad.
One of these players is Daniel Gore, who is 20 years old. He has only played two senior matches for United and has a market value of around €900,000. His contract runs until 2026, and both he and the club might think it’s time for him to explore new opportunities.
Another player is Harry Amass, who is just 17 years old. He has not been used much by United, especially with Luke Shaw often injured. Given his young age, he might want to find a team where he can play more regularly.
The third player is Toby Collyer, also 20 years old. He has mostly been left on the bench or not included in the squad. All three players could benefit from getting more playing time, and even if they only go on loan for the rest of the season, it could be a good move for everyone involved.
