The team had several players missing but managed to stay in the game after conceding an early goal to Casasola. They came close to equalizing multiple times, especially at the start of the second half. Longo had a goal disallowed that could have tied the game.

The Rossoneri started the second half strong, with Stalmach taking a shot that was saved. Longo thought he had scored, but the referee ruled it out for a foul. They continued to press but couldn’t find the back of the net.
Ternana then doubled their lead with a goal from Cianci after a mix-up in the Rossoneri defense. Shortly after, Casasola scored again, sealing the 3-0 victory for Ternana. The Rossoneri will need to regroup and focus on their next match.
