Real Madrid faces challenges with injuries as they prepare for the match against Getafe.
The match against Liverpool was not just a loss but also brought injuries. Eduardo Camavinga, an important player for Real Madrid, hurt his hamstring and had to leave the game early. He will be out for about three to four weeks, adding to the team’s struggles.
Before this injury, Camavinga had been playing well and was a bright spot in a team that has had some dull moments. His absence will be felt in the upcoming matches, but coach Carlo Ancelotti has some options to fill the gap.
One option is Aurelien Tchouameni, who is close to returning from his own injury. He might be ready to play against Getafe. Although he hasn’t been in great form this season, he was a key player before his ankle injury. Ancelotti may choose to ease him back into the game instead of starting him right away.
Another possibility is Federico Valverde. He has been playing out of position due to injuries to other players. Valverde has shown he can adapt, but his wife recently expressed that he plays best in the midfield. With Camavinga out and Tchouameni not fully fit, Valverde could take on that role against Getafe.
Dani Ceballos is also in the mix. He hasn’t played much this season but has performed well in recent games. He had a strong showing against Leganes and helped control the game with a high pass success rate. Ceballos stepped in for Camavinga during the match against Liverpool and could be a solid choice for the upcoming game.
Ancelotti might also consider Luka Modric for the midfield position, but Tchouameni, Valverde, and Ceballos seem to be the top candidates to replace Camavinga against Getafe. The team will need to adjust quickly to keep their momentum going despite the injuries.
