To celebrate this momentous occasion, Mallorca is giving back to their supporters by covering travel expenses for some lucky fans. They are hosting a competition where 35 members will be randomly selected to receive free flights and airport transfers to Saudi Arabia.
Winners will also get tickets to the semi-final match, and if Mallorca advances, they will also attend the final. However, the club will not provide accommodation, so fans will need to arrange that on their own. The competition opens on December 4, and fans have until December 8 to enter through the club’s website.
Mallorca has had a challenging journey in recent years. They reached the Copa del Rey final under coach Javier Aguirre but lost to Athletic Club in a tense penalty shootout. Now, with Jagoba Arrasate at the helm, the team has shown promise, including a strong 1-1 draw against Real Madrid in their first league match of the season.
This initiative not only highlights Mallorca’s commitment to their fans but also adds excitement to their upcoming Supercup match. The club’s efforts to involve supporters in this historic event are commendable and showcase the strong bond between the team and its loyal followers.
