Rangers Shine with Big Win in European Match

Glasgow: Rangers had an impressive performance in their recent European match. They scored four goals while playing away, which is a rare achievement for the team. This was only the eighth time they managed to score four or more goals in such a game, excluding qualifiers. Hamza Igamane made history by becoming the youngest Rangers player to score two goals in an away European match. At just 22 years and 26 days old, he broke a record that had stood since 1983. The previous record was held by Davie McPherson, who scored four goals against Valletta in Malta at the age of 19.

Rangers also made headlines by scoring three goals in the first half of this match. This was the first time they achieved this feat in a European game since November 2018. Back then, they played against Spartak Moscow in the Europa League.

On the other hand, Nice faced a tough time as they conceded three goals in the first half. This was the first time in 64 years that they allowed so many goals in the first half of a European match. The last occurrence was against Real Madrid in March 1960 during a European Cup match.

Vaclav Cerny has been a key player for Rangers lately. In his last three Europa League games, he has been involved in five goals, scoring three and assisting two. Overall, he has seven goals and three assists in his last nine matches across all competitions.

Rangers have shown great form in the Europa League, scoring in each of their last five games. During this run, they have netted a total of 12 goals, showcasing their attacking strength and determination to succeed in the tournament.
