Rangers Manager Faces Pressure After Mixed Results in League

Glasgow: Following a strong win in the Europa League, Rangers manager Philippe Clement is now focusing on domestic matches. Despite his success in Europe, he has received heavy criticism for the team’s performance in the Premiership this season.

Rangers will play against St Johnstone on Sunday, and the pressure is on Clement. His league record shows a win percentage of 69%, with seven losses and six draws out of 42 games.

The last match ended in a draw against Dundee United, where Rangers had to fight back to equalize. This result leaves them 11 points behind Celtic, who are at the top, and eight points behind Aberdeen in second place.

When comparing Clement’s record to previous Rangers managers, it is clear that he has the lowest win percentage since Graeme Murty left in May 2018. Michael Beale had a win rate of 77%, while Giovanni van Bronckhorst had 70%. Steven Gerrard, who managed a larger number of games, had a win percentage of 72%.

With a busy schedule ahead, Clement needs to improve his win rate quickly. If he does not, he may face the same fate as the two managers before him, who also struggled to keep their jobs.
