Pep Guardiola ready to leave Manchester City if he can’t help

Manchester: Pep Guardiola has said he might leave Manchester City if he feels he is not helping the team anymore. City has struggled lately, losing five out of their last six matches. They even let a three-goal lead slip away in a recent game against Feyenoord, ending in a draw.

Despite these challenges, Guardiola recently signed a new contract. He mentioned that managers at clubs like City face serious issues if they stop winning. He pointed out that they cannot keep blaming injuries, like Rodri’s, for their poor performance.

Guardiola emphasized the importance of taking responsibility. He stated, “No complaining, no blaming, no pointing fingers.” He understands that if the team does not win, it puts him in a tough spot. He knows that people depend on him, and it is unusual for a big club like City to have such disappointing results.

He wants to accept the current situation and is determined to improve. Guardiola said, “The moment I feel I am not positive for the club, another one will come.” He is eager to rebuild the team and tackle the challenges ahead.

Guardiola believes it is his job to prove himself again. He remarked, “It shows how we are as sportsmen and competitors.” He acknowledged that it is easier to succeed when the team is winning consistently and all players are fit. Now, he feels the need to find solutions and is working hard every day.

If City loses to Liverpool on Sunday, they will fall 11 points behind in the league. Guardiola mentioned that they cannot focus on winning the Premier League title right now. Instead, he believes they should concentrate on one game at a time to build momentum.
