Napoli maintained their unbeaten streak in Serie A with a 1-0 win against Torino, thanks to a goal from Scott McTominay, keeping them at the top of the league.
The match started slowly, with both teams struggling to create chances. In the first half, there were only four shots on target, all from Napoli. Romelu Lukaku and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia tried hard to score but couldn’t find the net.
Scott McTominay became the hero of the match when he scored in the 31st minute. He received a pass from Kvaratskhelia and shot from inside the box, giving Napoli a 1-0 lead. This goal marked McTominay’s fourth for the club, and he celebrated by running to his manager, Antonio Conte.
Despite having more possession in the second half, Napoli struggled to convert their chances into goals. They only managed two more shots on target, while Torino failed to threaten Napoli’s defense.
Looking ahead, Napoli will aim to improve their scoring in their next match against Lazio in the Coppa Italia. Currently, they enjoy a four-point lead at the top of Serie A, showing their strong position in the league.
