Napoli Eyes Juventus Defender Danilo for January Transfer
Report Napoli want Juventus veteran Danilo in January
Napoli: The Italian club Napoli is interested in signing Danilo, a defender from Juventus. This news comes from Sky Sport Italia, which reported that Napoli wants to bring him in during the January transfer window.

Danilo, who is from Brazil, has been linked with Manchester United recently. However, Napoli seems keen to keep him in Italy. Juventus is already looking for a new center-back after losing two players to serious injuries.

Gleison Bremer and Juan Cabal will not play again this season due to torn ligaments. This situation has made Juventus consider their options, and Danilo’s future at the club is uncertain.

Since the arrival of coach Thiago Motta, Danilo has not played much. His limited playing time has led to speculation about his departure. Manchester United was reportedly interested in him, but now Napoli is stepping in.

Coach Antonio Conte of Napoli believes Danilo could be a great addition to the team. He would bring valuable experience and could replace Juan Jesus, another Brazilian defender.

Danilo turned 33 in July and has been with Juventus since 2019. He joined the club for €37 million from Manchester City. His current contract ends at the season’s close.

This season, Danilo has played in 12 matches across Serie A and the Champions League. However, he has only started in four of those games, which shows his limited role in the team.
