Motta advises Juventus player linked to Manchester clubs to keep working hard

BOLOGNA: Thiago Motta, the coach of Bologna, recently spoke about Nicolò Fagioli, a midfielder for Juventus. Fagioli has not been playing much lately, and there are rumors that he might be offered to Manchester United and Manchester City. Motta did not want to talk about Juventus’ transfer plans but stressed that Fagioli needs to keep improving.

Motta mentioned that Fagioli should work hard every day, whether he plays for a full match or just a few minutes. He believes that Fagioli can make a difference for the team, even if he comes off the bench. The coach acknowledged that Fagioli has already contributed to the team as a substitute.

When asked about Fagioli’s lack of starting time, Motta encouraged him to stay focused and continue his efforts. He said it is important for all players to work hard, regardless of how much time they spend on the field.

Motta also avoided discussing Juventus’ transfer strategies, although he noted that the team might need a new defender soon. He emphasized that his main focus is on the upcoming match against Lecce and not on transfer talks.

The match against Lecce will take place at the Stadio Via del Mare on Sunday. Motta revealed that nine players from Juventus will not be available for this important league game. This situation adds more pressure on the remaining players to step up and perform well.
