Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah may join Paris Saint-Germain next summer as his contract ends, with ongoing discussions suggesting a possible free transfer to the French club.
Reports indicate that Salah and PSG have been in talks for some time. A source mentioned that Salah is considering the move to France. There is a good chance he could join PSG, according to the source.
PSG is looking for a new winger after missing out on other players. They tried to sign Khvicha Kvaratskhelia from Napoli and Jadon Sancho from Manchester United but were unsuccessful. They also showed interest in Nico Williams from Athletic Bilbao.
The club, owned by QSI, has let go of several high-paid players recently, including Neymar, Lionel Messi, Sergio Ramos, and Kylian Mbappé. This means they should have the funds to bring in Salah without any issues.
PSG has previously shown interest in Salah, and next summer might be their best chance to sign him. Salah knows PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi well, which could help the negotiations.
However, PSG has denied the reports from L’Equipe, suggesting that Salah might be using this situation to pressure Liverpool into a better deal.
