He mentioned that they were organized against Juventus but performed better in transitions against Slovan. Fonseca stressed that winning does not mean all problems are solved. They need to keep addressing their weaknesses.
He explained that issues come up with each game. The team was disciplined against Juventus but showed better transition play in Bratislava. Although they have been criticized for their defense, they currently have the fifth-best defense in the league, conceding the same number of goals as Inter and Lazio.
Milan is in seventh place in Serie A after 13 matches. They have a game in hand compared to most teams, except Bologna. The team has a challenging schedule ahead, starting with Sassuolo in the Coppa Italia and then facing Atalanta, who are performing well this season.
