Lyon looks to continue their winning streak against Nice after a strong performance in the Europa League, with key player changes expected in the lineup.
Reports suggest that coach Pierre Sage will make four changes to the team that won 4-1 in the Europa League. One of the changes will be in defense, where Moussa Niakhaté is expected to take Warmed Omari’s place.
A shift in formation will lead to two more changes in midfield. Jordan Veretout will remain, while Nemanja Matić and Corentin Tolisso are likely to replace Ernest Nuamah and Tanner Tessmann. Rayan Cherki will move to the right side in Nuamah’s absence.
Despite scoring two goals against Qarabag, Georges Mikautadze is expected to sit on the bench. Captain Alexandre Lacazette will return to the starting lineup in his place.
