As the transfer window nears, Randal Kolo Muani’s future at PSG is uncertain, with criticism aimed at coach Luis Enrique for his management of the player amid interest from top clubs.
Under coach Luis Enrique, Kolo Muani has not been able to find a regular spot as PSG’s main striker. He has only played 425 minutes in all competitions, which has fueled rumors that he might leave in January.
Reports say that Manchester United is interested in the French forward. They have reached out to see what options are available. However, they have limited funds for a permanent deal and are considering a loan move for the second half of the 2024-25 season.
At the same time, Arsenal is also looking at several attacking players, including Kolo Muani. Other names on their list include Alexander Isak, Benjamin Sesko, Bryan Mbeumo, Mateo Retegui, and Liam Delap.
PSG had a tough time scoring again in their recent 1-1 draw with FC Nantes. This disappointing result led to criticism of coach Luis Enrique for how he has managed the team and the lack of goals.
Walid Acherchour, a pundit, expressed his concerns about Enrique’s decisions. He said, “I’m a big fan of Luis Enrique, but he’s losing his way. What message are you sending to your locker room?!”
He pointed out that Gonçalo Ramos, who has only played 15 minutes this season, was on the field for 90 minutes against Nantes, while Kolo Muani did not get any playing time. Acherchour believes the coach should make better use of his players.
In addition to Arsenal and Manchester United, Chelsea is also interested in Kolo Muani. They see him as a potential competitor for Nicolas Jackson in their squad.
