Liverpool Joins Race for £84M-Rated Young Star Geovany Quenda

Liverpool: Paris Saint-Germain has been building strong connections with Portugal. They have signed young players like Vitinha, João Neves, and Gonçalo Ramos. Now, PSG is looking at another promising player.

Reports say that PSG, Manchester City, and Manchester United are all interested in 17-year-old Geovany Quenda from Sporting Lisbon. Manchester United’s interest is notable because their manager, Rúben Amorim, recently came from Sporting.

Newcastle United is also in the mix. Although no official offers have been made, they are eager to sign Quenda as part of their plan to attract young talent.

TEAMtalk shared that Liverpool is ready to join Manchester United in talks about Quenda. The report indicates that agent Jorge Mendes is now managing Quenda’s future and is busy scheduling meetings to discuss it.

A Bola reports that Manchester United is preparing a bid of £50 million plus bonuses. They hope to sign Quenda for less than his £84 million release clause. It is unclear if Sporting will accept this offer.
