Barcelona’s Robert Lewandowski seeks to break his scoring drought against Las Palmas.
In his first season in La Liga, Lewandowski won the Pichichi trophy, which is awarded to the top scorer. This season, he is leading the scoring chart with 15 goals. Overall, he has scored 57 goals in La Liga, with 23 last season and 19 this season.
Despite his success, Lewandowski has not scored against Las Palmas yet. He has played against 22 teams in La Liga and scored against 20 of them. The only teams he has not scored against are Las Palmas and Almeria.
Lewandowski faced Las Palmas twice last season but did not manage to score in either match. His team won both games, with goals from his teammates. In the first match, they won 2-1, and in the second match, they won 1-0.
As the leading scorer in La Liga, Lewandowski is eager to change his luck against Las Palmas. He plays as the center-forward for Barcelona and is a key player in their lineup. This Saturday, he will have the chance to finally score against Las Palmas and settle the score.
