RB Leipzig is looking to secure Xavi Simons permanently after his loan from PSG.
In September, journalist Christian Falk shared that Manchester City and Liverpool are keeping a close eye on Simons. He also caught the attention of other big clubs like Bayern Munich, Barcelona, and Manchester United during the summer.
So far this season, Simons has played in 11 games, scoring three goals and providing two assists. However, he has been sidelined for the last seven matches due to an ankle injury.
Leipzig is keen to keep Xavi Simons for the long term. Reports from Sport Bild, shared by Foot Mercato, indicate that the club wants to sign him as early as January. Simons, who is on loan from PSG until 2027, seems uninterested in returning to France.
Negotiations are ongoing, but Leipzig faces a significant challenge. The asking price for Simons is set at €80 million, which is a lot for the German club to handle.
