Barcelona’s manager shares updates on Lamine Yamal and Ronald Araujo’s fitness.
Yamal, who is just 17 years old, missed some games due to an ankle injury. His absence led to Barcelona losing points in two matches in La Liga. However, Flick reassured fans that Yamal will be ready to play against Las Palmas.
“Lamine is back. He is ready to play. We will see if he starts or not. He can play, and he will play,” Flick said during a press conference.
In addition to Yamal, Ronald Araujo is also making progress. He has been training for a week now. The coach provided an update on Araujo’s recovery. The Uruguayan player has been out for five months and is working hard to regain his fitness.
“He is training now, better every day. And at greater intensity. I wouldn’t say a specific date, but he is very close to playing games again,” Flick added.
Fans are hopeful to see both players back on the field soon. Their return could be crucial for Barcelona as they aim to improve their performance in the league. The team is looking forward to a strong showing against Las Palmas with these key players back in action.
