Kylian Mbappé Faces Challenges After Rejecting Real Madrid

Paris: Kylian Mbappé’s journey with Real Madrid has not been easy since he joined the team this summer. After leaving Paris Saint-Germain, he has faced many difficulties, and some believe he is now paying for his earlier choices.

The 25-year-old player has struggled, especially during a recent 2-0 loss to Liverpool in the UEFA Champions League. His first El Clásico match on October 26 was particularly tough, as Real Madrid lost 4-0 to Barcelona at their home stadium. Just a few days later, they suffered another defeat, losing 3-1 to AC Milan in the Champions League.

With Vinicius absent, Mbappé had a chance to shine against Liverpool. Unfortunately, the game turned out to be a disaster for him, who won the FIFA World Cup in 2018.

In 2022, Mbappé decided to stay with PSG, a choice that some experts now see as a big mistake. Kevin Diaz, speaking on After Foot RMC, expressed his strong views on this decision.

Diaz pointed out that Mbappé missed a great opportunity two years ago. He also mentioned that by staying, Mbappé allowed Vinicius to rise to fame and become one of the best players in the world.

Diaz noted that Mbappé is now facing challenges with teammates like Toni Kroos and Luka Modric aging and injuries affecting the team. Real Madrid is under pressure after winning everything last year, making things even harder for him.

He concluded that Mbappé’s decision to remain at PSG has not helped his situation, especially with all the issues off the field. The combination of these factors has made his transition to Real Madrid quite difficult.
