Kai Havertz has matched his goal tally from Chelsea with Arsenal in fewer games, showcasing his impressive performance in the Premier League after his latest goal in a recent match.
Havertz’s goal was crucial, especially as West Ham managed to score twice, bringing the score to 4-2 just before halftime. If he had missed, the game could have been much tighter, with Arsenal leading by only one goal.
This goal also marks an important milestone in Havertz’s career with Arsenal. Since joining the team, he has achieved 26 goals and assists in just 49 Premier League matches. This matches his total output during three full seasons with Chelsea, where he played 91 league games.
While he wasn’t always a starter at Chelsea, his current stats show a significant improvement. Havertz played over 5,900 minutes for Chelsea, but has only played about 3,720 minutes for Arsenal so far.
This means he has contributed a goal or assist every 227 minutes at Chelsea, compared to every 143 minutes at Arsenal. This is a notable difference, showing he is more effective with his new team.
Interestingly, Havertz’s scoring really picked up after he was moved to the center-forward position in February. Before that, he scored only five goals in six months. Since then, he has netted 18 goals in just nine months, even with a summer break.
In total, Havertz still has some ground to cover in all competitions. He recorded 44 goals and assists in 139 games for Chelsea, while he has 31 in 70 matches for Arsenal. However, with 69 games left and only 13 contributions needed, he is on a promising path.
