Juventus director scouts players in Manchester and discusses transfers

GdS: Manchester – Juventus director Cristiano Giuntoli was in Manchester recently. He watched a match at the Etihad Stadium. His focus was on defender Dávid Hancko, who scored against Manchester City. Giuntoli is also in talks about Joshua Zirkzee and midfielder Douglas Luiz, who is not happy at Juventus.

Giuntoli’s trip to England was for a Champions League game against Aston Villa. During this trip, he met with directors from Manchester United and Manchester City. Earlier reports mentioned that he talked about Nicolò Fagioli and Douglas Luiz with these clubs.

On Tuesday, Giuntoli attended the Manchester City-Feyenoord match. He wanted to see Hancko play, and he was pleased to see him score. This shows that Juventus is serious about adding Hancko to their team.

According to Gazzetta, Giuntoli also spoke with Kia Joorabchian, the agent for Zirkzee and Douglas Luiz. Luiz is not getting enough playing time in Turin, and Giuntoli is looking for offers for him in January.

Recently, Giuntoli said Juventus would not seek a new striker in January. However, Zirkzee is still a possibility. This is especially true since Arek Milik’s fitness is uncertain. If Manchester United agrees to loan Zirkzee, he could join Juventus and reunite with Thiago Motta in January.
