Inter Milan Wins Against RB Leipzig With Little Effort

Milan: Former Inter Milan player Nicola Ventola believes the team easily defeated RB Leipzig in the Champions League. He shared his thoughts on the Viva el Football podcast, discussing the match that took place on Tuesday. Inter has been on a winning streak in the Champions League.

They previously won against teams like Red Star Belgrade, Young Boys, and Arsenal. On Tuesday, they added another victory by taking three points from Bundesliga team RB Leipzig. In the first half, Inter played very well and created many chances, but they only managed to score one goal.

As the game went on, Leipzig started to play better and pushed harder in the second half. Inter, however, defended well and stayed organized, preventing Leipzig from scoring. Ventola commented on the match, saying he was disappointed with Leipzig’s performance.

He noted that Inter seemed to control the game with ease. Ventola mentioned that the team played with confidence, knowing they could win. He viewed their performance positively, especially since Leipzig has been a strong team for many years.

Despite the good result, there was a downside for Inter. Ventola pointed out that Benjamin Pavard got injured during the match. He expressed concern about Pavard’s performance, saying he seemed unsure when Leipzig targeted him. Overall, Inter’s win was impressive, but the injury to Pavard was unfortunate.
