Fiorentina thanks the football community for their support of Edoardo Bove, who collapsed during a match. The club reassured fans about his health and ongoing care.
The incident occurred at the Stadio Artemio Franchi on Sunday. Bove fell to the ground suddenly and was quickly taken away on a stretcher to an ambulance.
Fortunately, later that evening, the club announced that Bove did not suffer any serious heart or brain injuries. He is currently in intensive care at Careggi Hospital in Florence.
After confirming Bove’s condition, Fiorentina released another message thanking everyone for their support. Many people from the football world shared their thoughts on social media after the incident.
Fiorentina’s statement read, “We thank Viola fans, clubs, and the entire football community for their support towards Edoardo Bove and his loved ones.”
President Rocco Commisso, along with his family, is keeping in touch with people in Florence to stay updated on Bove’s situation.
Commisso said, “Forza Edoardo, we’re with you. You’re a strong boy with a great character. We’re reaching out to the boy’s family during these moments.”
