Fiorentina’s coach Raffaele Palladino is on a similar journey as Inter Milan’s Simone Inzaghi, both leading their teams well but with different trophy counts. A match is set tonight.
Both teams owe much of their success to their coaches. Inzaghi has built his career step by step. He started coaching youth teams at Lazio before moving up to the senior team. His time at Lazio was successful, leading to his current role at Inter since 2021.
Under Inzaghi, Inter has won the Serie A title, two Coppa Italia trophies, and three Supercoppa Italiana titles. They also reached the Champions League final. On the other hand, Palladino began his coaching journey with Monza’s Under-15 team.
After working his way up, he got a chance to coach the senior team when Monza fired their head coach. Palladino managed to keep the team in Serie A for two seasons. His success led him to Fiorentina this summer.
Although Palladino had a tough start this season, he has turned things around. Fiorentina is now performing well in Serie A. While he hasn’t won any trophies yet, many believe it’s just a matter of time before he does.
