Edoardo Bove collapsed during a match, causing panic. He was taken to the hospital and is now conscious, while the game was postponed for safety reasons.
Florence: Panic erupted at the Franchi Stadium when Edoardo Bove, a midfielder, collapsed during the Fiorentina-Roma match. The 22-year-old, who is on loan from Roma, fell while trying to tie his shoes and did not get back up.
Medical staff quickly rushed to his side, and the match was stopped shortly after. Reports suggest that Bove suffered an epileptic seizure, which led to a brief cardiac arrest on the field.
Fortunately, Bove is now awake and alert, surrounded by the Fiorentina medical team and some club officials. He will undergo a CT scan due to experiencing spasms during the incident.
As a result of the emergency, the match between Fiorentina and Inter has been postponed to a later date. Fans and players alike are relieved to hear that Bove is conscious and receiving care.
