Edoardo Bove is recovering well after collapsing during a match. He is awake and undergoing further tests to ensure his health is stable.
Bove, who plays for Fiorentina on loan from Roma, felt unwell while tying his shoes. He suddenly fell to the ground, prompting immediate medical attention. The game was stopped after a goal by Lautaro Martinez was disallowed.
He was quickly taken to Careggi Hospital, where he spent the night. Reports say he rested well and is now awake and alert. Medical staff monitored him closely throughout the night.
Initially, he was placed in intensive care and given medication to help him relax. This morning, he was extubated, which means the breathing tube was removed. He is now able to respond to questions from doctors.
Doctors have checked for any serious issues and confirmed that there is no neurological or heart damage. Bove’s condition is improving, and he will undergo more tests to ensure he continues to recover well.
