Bove was quickly taken to a nearby hospital. Reports say he was breathing on his own while in the ambulance and regained consciousness after arriving at the hospital.
The club released a statement about Bove’s condition. They mentioned that he is currently under sedation and receiving care in intensive care. The hospital staff has been monitoring him closely.
Initial tests showed that there is no serious damage to his heart or brain. The doctors confirmed that he arrived at the emergency room in stable condition. They ruled out any acute issues with his central nervous system or respiratory system.
Bove will be checked again in the next 24 hours to see how he is doing. The match where he collapsed was stopped and will be played again later.
According to Serie A rules, the game will continue from the point it was stopped, starting from the 18th minute with a score of 0-0.
Edoardo Bove is a young player who came from the Roma youth academy. He joined Fiorentina on loan this summer for €1.5 million, with a chance to make the move permanent for an additional €10.5 million.
