In a thrilling match, Lecce’s Ante Rebic scored a last-minute goal, securing a draw against Juventus. This result keeps Lecce’s new coach unbeaten while Juventus struggles with injuries.
Juventus faced a tough situation with many key players injured. Nine first-team players were unavailable, including stars like Dusan Vlahovic and Weston McKennie. Tim Weah played as a False 9 due to these injuries.
Lecce recently changed coaches, firing Luca Gotti. Marco Giampaolo took over and won his first match against Venezia. However, Lecce also had players missing, including Lameck Banda and Kevin Bonifazi.
The match started with Juventus almost scoring in the sixth minute. Kenan Yildiz made a great run and crossed the ball, but Khephren Thuram hit the post from close range. Juventus continued to press, hitting the woodwork again shortly after.
