Gianluigi Donnarumma’s future at PSG is uncertain as contract talks have stalled.
Recently, Donnarumma was not in the starting lineup during PSG’s Champions League match against Bayern Munich. After the game, coach Luis Enrique mentioned that Matvey Safonov, who replaced Donnarumma, had better skills in distributing the ball. However, a mistake by Safonov led to PSG’s loss.
It is unclear if Donnarumma will return as the starting goalkeeper in the upcoming Ligue 1 match against Nantes. His recent performance has raised questions about his future with the team. His contract with PSG runs until June 2026, but talks about a new deal have come to a standstill.
Donnarumma’s agent, Enzo Raiola, had started discussions with PSG back in September, but there have been no updates since then. Reports suggest that top clubs like Inter, Liverpool, and Manchester City are interested in signing him. This season, Donnarumma has managed to keep two clean sheets in 11 games across all competitions.
