After leaving Brisbane Roar in search of better opportunities, he joined Crystal Palace for training. His father, Royce Brownlie, played in England for Swindon Town and Chester City between 2007 and 2008. This connection adds an interesting twist to Rylan’s journey.
Football Insider claims that Rylan has shown enough promise to earn a permanent contract with the Eagles. The club and the player seem to have reached an agreement, which is exciting news for fans. Rylan will turn 18 in February and is expected to join the U-18 team, currently ranked eighth in the U-18 Premier League South.
Meanwhile, Crystal Palace’s senior team is also performing well. They recently secured a 1-0 victory over Ipswich Town, marking only one loss in their last seven matches across all competitions. This successful run has propelled them into the EFL Cup quarter-finals, where they will face Arsenal.
In the Premier League, the Eagles have climbed to 17th place, just three points behind West Ham United in 14th. Upcoming matches include a home game against defending champions Manchester City and a rivalry match against Brighton, followed by the EFL Cup clash with Arsenal.
Manager Oliver Glasner is also looking ahead to the January transfer window. He has indicated that he wants to finalize any new signings early, which could further strengthen the squad as they aim for better results in the league.
