Man United has made a big offer for Geovany Quenda, but Chelsea wants him too.
Lisbon: Chelsea is showing interest in a young player named Geovany Quenda, who is also wanted by Manchester United. United has reportedly prepared a £60 million offer, including bonuses, for the talented 17-year-old from Sporting CP. Chelsea, however, is trying to get involved in the deal as well.
Quenda has become one of the top young players in Europe this season. He has been playing as a wing-back after being given a chance by his coach, Ruben Amorim. His impressive performances have caught the attention of several big clubs.
There are rumors that Amorim, who recently joined Manchester United, may not stick to his original plans. He seems to want to bring some players from Sporting, including Quenda, to his new team. This could mean that United might lose out on signing the young star.
