Barcelona is exploring free-agent options but is not pursuing Salah due to his salary.
Some big names, including Jonathan Tah, Alphonso Davies, Trent Alexander-Arnold, and Mohamed Salah, will have contracts ending soon. Barcelona is reportedly interested in Tah and Davies, while Salah has also been mentioned, though not as a top target.
A report from Fichajes states that Barcelona is not actively trying to sign Salah. The main reason is his high salary, which is around €25 million a year. This amount is too much for Barcelona, especially considering their current financial restrictions.
Salah has been a star player for Liverpool for nearly ten years, making him a desirable signing for many clubs. However, his salary makes it hard for Barcelona to consider him seriously. Instead, there is a chance he might move to Saudi Arabia when his contract with Liverpool ends.
While Salah may not be joining, Barcelona is still looking for a new winger. They need someone who can play on the left side since Lamine Yamal is already set for the right. Names like Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Nico Williams are being discussed as potential targets for the summer of 2025.
