Barcelona is on the lookout for a new striker to replace Lewandowski, with Arsenal also interested in the same player. The competition heats up as summer approaches.
Barcelona: The club is actively searching for a new striker to eventually take over from Robert Lewandowski. They aim to sign someone within the next one to two years. The first chance to bring in a new player will be next summer, so they are making a list of potential candidates.
Reports from England suggest that one of the players on Barcelona’s radar is Alexander Isak. He currently plays for Newcastle United and is reportedly eager to leave the club before the next season starts.
Arsenal is also showing strong interest in Isak. They seem to be leading the race to sign him if he decides to leave Newcastle next summer. Another player both clubs are considering is Viktor Gyokeres, a talented striker from Sporting CP who is also Swedish.
It will be intriguing to see how Barcelona’s search for a new striker unfolds. Given Lewandowski’s impressive performance this season, it might be surprising if they find a replacement so soon. However, it remains a possibility that cannot be ignored.
