Arsenal interested in Real Madrid’s Arda Guler for January transfer

London: Arsenal is considering a move for Real Madrid forward Arda Guler as the January transfer window approaches. According to journalist Miguel Delaney, the Gunners are keen on the young Turkish player, who is unhappy with his limited playing time at Madrid.

Guler has found it hard to get minutes on the field since Kylian Mbappe joined the team. While Real Madrid sees him as an important player for the future, they might allow him to go on loan. They could also agree to a permanent transfer with a buy-back option.

A loan deal could be beneficial for Arsenal, as manager Mikel Arteta is looking for more attacking options for the second half of the season. Guler has only managed one assist in 14 games this season, starting just five of them, and he is eager for more playing time, which Arsenal could provide.

The 19-year-old had a strong performance in the European Championship, scoring one goal and providing two assists in five matches.
