Arsenal is looking to sign RB Leipzig’s talented striker Benjamin Sesko next summer.
Sesko’s new deal keeps him at Leipzig until 2029, giving the club a strong position in negotiations. With four years left on his contract, they are likely to ask for a high transfer fee. Despite this, Arsenal remains determined to improve their scoring options for the next season.
Since joining Leipzig in 2023, Sesko has been impressive. He scored 14 goals in 31 league matches during his first season, attracting attention from many European teams. This season, he has continued to perform well, with seven goals and three assists in 17 games across all competitions.
If Sesko maintains or improves his performance, Arsenal will be keen to secure his signature next summer. Currently, Gabriel Jesus has not been at his best, leaving Kai Havertz as the main striker for the team.
To strengthen their attack, Arsenal may need to sell some players, and Jesus is among those who could leave. His performance has declined since he joined the club, and he has only started six out of 16 games this season.
Injuries have also been a concern for Jesus, which might lead Arsenal to look for a better option. Another player who could be on the way out is Oleksandr Zinchenko, who has not been favored by coach Mikel Arteta lately.
New signing Riccardo Calafiori has become the top choice for left-back, and with young talent Myles Lewis-Skelly emerging, Zinchenko’s position may be at risk. Arsenal is preparing for a busy summer as they aim to enhance their squad.
