Real Madrid’s coach calls for support for Mbappe as the team faces challenges.
During a press conference, Ancelotti discussed Mbappe’s recent struggles. He noted that Mbappe has scored only two goals in his last nine matches. The manager emphasized that the team is working hard to find their best form together.
Ancelotti stated, “Mbappe’s problem is the same as everyone else’s. We are all trying to find our best version. The issue lies with the team, not just individual players. We need to improve as a group.” He acknowledged that while Mbappe has contributed with nine goals and assists, there is room for improvement for everyone.
The manager also talked about the playing positions of Mbappe and Vinicius. He mentioned that both players are used to playing on the left side. Ancelotti said that Vinicius is realizing he can be effective in other areas too. He is considering changing their positions during games based on the situation.
Ancelotti continued to stress the importance of patience. He believes that the team can overcome their challenges together. “Mbappe knows he needs to do better, just like everyone else. We must support him and understand that this is a team issue, not just about one player.”
He pointed out that the team’s performance in La Liga has improved recently, even if they could have done better against Liverpool. Ancelotti reminded everyone that several key players are still recovering from injuries. He mentioned that Rodrygo will return soon, and he urged fans to remain patient as the team works through these difficulties.
